PROJECT P.A.C.T. is the official a listing of activities where NSP members can develop their specified talent for the year, as individuals, leaders, and performers. Based on their membership, NSP utilize the skills of parents, members, and volunteers, to help accomplish primary goals, based on:

 

a. age

b. talent areas

c. number of registered members per talent

d. access to rehearsal locations and performance space

e. need for programs in specific communities

f. cultural development and/or physical improvement of specific community areas

g. financial support

 

Programs implemented through PROJECT PACT includes:

- Black History Celebration (annual)

- Participation in Central Brooklyn Jazz Festival (every April) features NSP’s "Friends & Strangers" Teen Jazz Band

- Christmas Children Project (Annual Toy, Food, & Clothes Drive with visitation to hospital/shelters)

- Field Trips

- Homework/Tutorial Program

- Kwanzaa Celebration

- New York Fashion Week

- "Non-Stoppers" Double-Dutch Team

- Open House  Peer Counseling

- Read-A-Thon

- Spring Fashion & Talent Show (Annual)

- Spring Yard Clean-Up (Youth clean yards, streets, and specific area in their neighborhood)

- NSP Theatre Ensemble

- Youth Conferences

- Youth Newspaper

FUNDING FOR PROJECT P.A.C.T.

NSP seeks grants and holds fundraisers to support the needs of every members.  We welcome sponsors and supporters to get involved to help our youth accomplish their goals.

Primary funding is needed for the following:

   - SPACE RENTAL

   - General Supplies per talent area

   - Showcase Production

   - Advertisement and Marketing

   - Staffing and Volunteer needs
