WELCOME TO NSP!
N.S.P.'s mission is to develop and exhibit the talents of inner-city youth by using six components: Acting, Art and Design, Music, Fashion-Modeling, Dance, and Youth Leadership. Our organization supports the concept of learning through the arts, therefore, emphasizing the importance of an education in an advanced learning environment.
Our primary goal is to promote young artists in a positive manner. Through our programming (known as PROJECT P.A.C.T.: "Positive Activities for Children and Teens), we provide free membership for youth of all ages. YOUTH MAGAZINE
Project P.A.C.T., is a series of activities, programs and annual events that will concentrate on the needs, and growth of NSP and surrounding community. Activities will include conducting our Saturday program, rehearsal schedule, community service projects, membership and leadership development, and seasonal highlighting of talent.
This P.A.C.T. is set up to emphasize four areas, which will enable NSP to encourage our youth to achieve their goals. (The “PACT” serves as the foundation of Non-Stop Production, and as the primary focus of our mission statement.)
1. P = PERFORMANCE: Presentation, activities, and events.
The strength of NSP relies on how well our youth performs in events and showcases. Their presentation depends on a strong positive attitude, dedication, and commitment towards their goal. These three attributes represents the “spirit” of NSP.
2. A = ARTS: Creativity and innovation.
Our youth will be encouraged to be creative. Their ideas are the backbone to their success. Their creativity should not be limited, withheld, and acknowledging their full potential is a priority.
3. C = COMMUNITY: Environment, education, and outreach.
By focusing on the needs of the inner-city youth and community, our goal is to concentrate on empowerment through a) education, b) economics, and c) social and recreational activity.
4. T = TALENT: Skills, and special attributes.
We will allow our youth to focus their on their special skills, and talents; to enable them to perform at their very best, and execute at its highest quality. Through their talents, we will allow them to engage in activities beneficial to their development and mental growth.
